Father’s Day Gift Ideas from a Dad’s Perspective

There is a holiday on the horizon…Father’s Day.  What are you going to get your baby daddy?  Here’s an interview with a dad of young children (my hubby) to give you the inside scoop.  Wondering what they are really thinking (Seinfeld clip on the subject) and what they really want for Father’s Day?  Here is a list of Father’s Day Gift Ideas from a dad’s perspective!

My hubby recently turned the big 4-0!  He has interests that range from sports to baking to DIY projects (definitely diverse).  I am interviewing him on a variety of “dad” subjects pertaining to Father’s Day, so I can help you plan the perfect day and buy the perfect present!

  1. I think our husbands would be best friends! From the golf and home brew to wanting to just hang out with the family and sip a bit of whiskey. However, your hubby gave me some great ideas about tools! I am going to check those out!

    1. Yay! Good luck with final decisions…it is going to be hard for me to pick!

  2. Those are great gift ideas. It’s so hard to buy a gift for my spouse because he will go out and buy what he wants anyways. But my husband also does like golf and johnny walker.

    1. My hubby is the same way! He doesn’t buy movies typically, so that is one that might work as a gift!

  3. Buying for our husbands is so hard, I know that mine has everything he already wants, well maybe except for those extremely pricey items that we can’t afford right now, your list is a great way to get “inside” their minds!!! Thanks!!!

    1. Thanks Sara! It can be so hard to come up with ideas! I love the simple sports ideas…fun for dads and encourages play with the kids! I hope you find the right gift :)!
